It’s official. I am now an artist! One of my photos is included in the local art exhibit, Span The Gap. Lisa D Watson curated and organized this unique exhibit focusing on the Talmadge Bridge. The Talmadge Bridge connects Georgia to South Carolina. The bridge has a troubled name since it is named after Eugene Talmadge, former governor and white supremacist. Lisa has also brought a discussion of renaming the bridge.
The opening was last Friday at Oglethorpe Gallery (406 E Oglethorpe Ave) in Historic Savannah. The exhibit will run through June 24th.
Yesterday, I went to Kroger for grocery shopping and discovered sausages that are made at Kroger. I got a pork Italian sausage and chicken sriracha sausage. I had the chicken sriracha sausage for breakfast this morning, and it was delicious. I just wish I had a green apple to accompany the sausage, peppers and egg. Not only was the sausage delicious, it is also one $1 apiece. I will be back for more!
